i worked 4 days in a row at another office about a month ago.

that office's steward approached me and wanted me to give him my exact clock rings to make sure i got payed was how he put it.

about 3 days later my sup called me in and told me that the other office's steward was filling a grievance against me.

damn pig back stabbin snakes!  that office called me!

i would like to get ahold of that steward out in town. its the fact that he tried to snake me instead of being truthful!

coward!

You really do need to get a life Parafrog.
The Union can only file a grievance against management and not against another employee.
You also need to tone down your rhetoric. That's twice you've threatened others and I wouldn't doubt it if these sites are policed...

thats not a direct threat!

and my post master told me the griev was against me. i know who he filed it against the management.

obviously you missed the whole point!

he should have told me why he wanted my hours, instead of telling me it was to make sure i got payed. he should have told me the truth.

just another story to solidify that we are in a bussness full of ratts!

don't you agree>

the steward couldv'e  and should have just gotten clock rings on you from a supervisor..
he probably has someone not getting enough hours in his office and is grieving that to management..it is not about you, it is about the hrs worked in their office...

It probably feels like the grievance is "against" you, but it is not. The union doesn't file grievances against it members but rather for its members. So if you were a PTF in the office that called you, you might be saying, "why is that guy from another office getting those hours and $$ that should be mine?!!" The steward is working for the employees in his office, as he should. It is management that the grievance is against, they are the ones that made the mistake of calling someone to their office instead of using the employees actually assigned there.
On the other hand, the steward could have been more forthright with you and he certainly could have gotten the clock rings from mgt instead of asking you.
