I submitted my SF 86 form back in late June, and I got an e-mail three days ago saying that I needed to make two corrections and re-submit it electronically. Will I have to wait another 4 months for them to finish it?

You need to talk to your security folks.
Also - read the instructions and answer each question carefully. Getting the papers accepted means you filled in the blanks, not filled in the correct information.

The SF-86 is for TSA, and I don't understand what you mean by "your security folks"; could you please clarify that? And I checked and re-checked the SF-86 form (all 48 pages of it), and I thought everything was correct. It was two little mistakes involving who you knew in the past 3 years that could verify where you've lived.

4 months might be a good time frame.  It took 14 months to get mine done.

The need for BI's have increased and the people to do the legwork are limited.

Good luck

Okay, would the security manager be located at the airport in which I accepted my contingent offer? Or would this require another phone call to TSA?
